Sneeze beef

I haven't had a steak for a long long time, the reason for that is I try to avoid eating beef. However, last night I had in mind that I want to cook steak for today's dinner. I actually made a right choice to cook steak as the taste of fillet steak with pepper sauce didn't disappoint me at all. Here is what you need:

3 pieces
of steak
Olive oil for brushing
2 teapoons salt
1 tablespoon cracked black pepper

Pepper sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 brown onion, chopped

2 tablespoons peppercorns, cracked
1 cup beef stock
1/4 cup white wine
1 1/4 cups cream

Serving: 2-3

To make the pepper sauce, heat a saucepan o
ver medium heat. Add the oil, onion and peppercorns and cook for 2 minutes. Add the stock and wine and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the cream and cook for 2 minutes or until thickened. Drained out the onion and set aside and keep warm.
Pat the steaks dry with absorben paper towels. Brush with the oil and sprinkle evenly with the salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 3 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until cooked to your liking. (Thanks Donna Hay for this recipe)

Hmm..This one is a bit rare :P
